Beginning in August of 2006, students in preschool through grade 9 must meet new immunization requirements. These requirements include the following types of immunizations:

Hepatitis B
Varicella (Chicken Pox)
Pneumococcal (for Pre-K onlu)

If your child needs these or other immunizations, please make an appointment with your child's doctor. If you do not have a doctor or medical insurance, please call the Health Department at 240-313-3296 for assistance. Our county's goal is for all students to be in compliance with these requirements on or before Friday, September 15, 2006.
