The Local Health Improvement Process

Established a local health improvement coalition known as the Washington County Health Improvement Coalition (WCHIC)

WCHIC Vision: A healthy community for all
WCHIC will support the goals of Maryland's State Health Improvement Plan
Initial steps:

Gather and review health-related data

Convene a Community Summit
Present the data to the Washington County community
Prioritize the top objectives for health improvement
Develop a local health improvement plan centered around the top priorities for local action
