Court Appointed Special Advocates of Washington County will recruit, screen, train and supervise volunteers to serve as advocates for children, in adjudicated cases of child abuse or neglect, to contribute positive outcomes in child, family and community welfare within Washington County, Maryland.

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Washington County is a program of the Washington County Health Department.

Program funding is provided by the Maryland Administrative Office of the Courts, Department of Family Administration.

This program is supported by G-0402MDCJA1, awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice. The Assistant Attorney General, Office of Justice Programs, coordinates the activities of the program offices and bureaus.
