The Health Department ensures that the operation, maintenance, and construction of public swimming pools and spas, public bathing beaches, campgrounds, and mobile home parks are in accordance with applicable regulations and do not jeopardize the health or safety of the community.

The annual permit fee for a campground, public swimming pool or a public spa is $100.00. Annual permit fees for mobile home parks are determined by the number of mobile home spaces:

Mobile Home Parks
    2 - 10 spaces
  $100
  11 - 25 spaces
  $150
      > 25 spaces
  $200

Staff work closely with the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Infectious Disease and Environmental Health Administration of the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to facilitate construction and to ensure that inspection requirements and procedures are adhered to.
