Breastfeeding

  • Breast milk is the ideal food for babies because it has all the right mix of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients needed for the baby.

  • Breast milk is ideal for babies because it is easily digested, Breastfed babies have less constipation, diarrhea and vomiting than formula fed babies

  • Babies get antibodies from breast milk that protects them from colds, ear infections, allergies, and other illnesses.

  • Mother benefits from breastfeeding, too. Her body will get back into shape more quickly, she will get more rest because she will be sitting to feed the baby, and her risk of certain cancers is decreased.

  • Breastfeeding is free and requires no shopping or bottle washing.
