DESCRIPTION:

The Washington County Health Department is seeking a full-time Environmental Sanitarian Trainee. This is the entry level of work at a local health department performing inspections and investigations to secure compliance with environmental health laws and regulations.

EDUCATION:

Determined by the Maryland State Board of Environmental Sanitarians under the certificate of eligibility requirements for Environmental Sanitarians. (Baccalaureate Degree)

LICENSE:
|
Candidates for positions in this classification MUST possess a certificate of eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Environmental Sanitarian for the Maryland State Board of Environmental Sanitarians (410-537-3597). A photocopy of current registration or certificate of eligibility MUST be attached to the application form (MS-100).
