DESCRIPTION:

The Washington County Health Department is seeking a full-time contractual (no benefits) Vision & Hearing Screening Technician. This position will conduct hearing and vision screenings of preschool and school age children, handicapped individuals and mentally retarded persons at schools and community health facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
|
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
|
EXPERIENCE:
|
One year of experience operating audiometric and vision screening equipment in a vision and hearing screening program.
|
LICENSE:
|
Candidates appointed to this position will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
